GENERAL INFORMATION
What are the payment options at the event?
Please bring your card, as cash facilities will be limited. Smaller bars will only accept card payments. Food vendors are able to accept both cash and card payments at their discretion.
Can we come and go to the festival?
No, there are no pass-outs at the event.
Can I bring my own alcohol to the event?
No. The event is licensed and therefore you are unable to bring in any alcoholic beverages to and from the site. Please adhere to local RSA guidelines as noncompliance may result in you being evicted from the event for the entire weekend.
Can I bring my own food to the event?
Nope. Outside food is not allowed to enter the festival site. Exceptions will be made for people with serious allergies and medical conditions. Please visit our CONTACT page to discuss your dietary needs.
Smoking areas?
The site is a smoke-free area and smoking is only allowed in designated smoking areas. Please dispose of your cigarette buts properly.
Will there be first aid on-site?
Yes, we will have a first aid point and also medical personnel roaming the site. Please ask security, staff and medical personnel should you require any help.
Security & Police
We will have plenty of security personnel on-site to help you stay safe throughout the event. They are there to help you should you require assistance. Please treat all security/police & event staff with respect. GDS FEST is a temporary community and these personnel are there to keep us safe and happy. Both plain-clothed and uniformed police will be roaming the site. They are there to ensure everyone’s safety.

What's the difference between the areas?
General Admission: In the General Admission area, you have the flexibility to dance, stand, or sit as you enjoy the festival. It's a lively zone where the crowd's energy is contagious, making it perfect for those who want to fully immerse themselves in the music.
Gold Premium Seating: The Gold Premium Seating area offers a more relaxed experience, with attendees must bring their own chairs. You may dance or stand in front of your seat, but please be considerate of others' viewing experiences to ensure everyone enjoys the show.
Sunshine Circle: 18+ only in this area. The Sunshine Circle is an exclusive zone designed for dancing only, offering a close-up view of the stage and an unbeatable festival atmosphere. This area is for those who want to stay on their feet and keep moving to the music throughout the event
What payment methods are accepted?
All ticket sales are made through Oztix, our ticketing partner. Oztix accepts VISA & Mastercard.
Do we offer payment plans?
Yes, Oztix will offer Zip Buy Now, Pay Later as a payment option. For more information click here.
What is the Booking Protect refund protection and how does it work?
Oztix offers the option to purchase Booking Protect insurance. This insurance can protect you from many unforeseen issues such as COVID-19. This is a third-party product that is separate from ‘Good Day Sunshine'. Please make sure you read the terms & conditions before you purchase.
Refund Policy
Please choose carefully as there are NO REFUNDS on tickets except as required by the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice.
Privacy Disclaimer
It is a condition of purchase that the buyer consents to ‘Good Day Sunshine’ retaining personal information as required by the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012(Cth). ‘Good Day Sunshine’ will only hold your information for archive purposes and contacting you in relation to ticketing matters and event information. ‘Good Day Sunshine’ will not trade, sell or otherwise dispose of your personal information.
Security
Oztix strives to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of personally identifiable information of our customers. We use a variety of physical and electronic security measures including restricting physical access to our offices and firewalls and secure databases to keep personal information secure from misuse, loss or unauthorised use of disclosure. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed.

What is a Valid ID?
A valid ID is a current photo driver’s license, proof of age card or a current, valid passport
How many tickets can 1 person buy?
There is a limit of 8 - 18+ tickets per purchaser in one transaction.
There is a limit of 2 - Under 18 tickets per purchase of 1 - 18+ ticket. See youth policy for more details.
Where can I resell my tickets?
Tixel is the official ticket resale platform. Please visit tixel.com to sell your tickets.
Can I sell my tickets on the Facebook page?
Absolutely not! Scalping is at an all-time high so any posts about ticket resale or buying will be deleted. If you need to resell your tickets, please resell them through the official Tixel page.
Lineup Changes.
Lineup & schedule is subject to change. Changes to lineup and schedule do NOT constitute a refund and NO refunds will be given.
Youth Policy

All youth (under 18) and their responsible adults must arrive and enter the event together.

Upon arrival, you must register any under-18 attendees at the Youth Registration Tent.

All patrons under 18 must be accompanied and continuously supervised by a responsible adult aged 25 or older.
-
Each youth ticket must be purchased with an 18+ ticket at a ratio of 1:2. This means one responsible adult may supervise up to two youths at the festival.

If a youth is found to be unaccompanied or unsupervised at any time, both the youth and their responsible adult will have their tickets cancelled and will be escorted from the festival site.

Under 18's are NOT allowed in the Sunshine Circle due to safety issues.

Babies in Arms Policy

Babies in Arms: Babies 2 years old & under are welcome at the event. They must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

No Prams Allowed: For safety and logistical reasons, prams are not permitted at the event. This helps to maintain clear pathways and ensure crowd safety, especially in high-density areas. Please use alternative baby-carrying solutions.

Sunshine Circle Zone: Babies in arms are not allowed in the Sunshine Circle zone, which is designated as a dance floor area.

Free of Charge: Babies in arms (2 years old & under) are admitted free of charge.

Age Verification: The promoter reserves the right to verify the age of babies in arms at their discretion.
When will set times be released?
Set times will be released closer to the date. Keep an eye out!!
Can I have access to a companion card?
Once you have purchased your event ticket please reach out to organise a complimentary companion ticket. Please email ticketing info to events@macromusic.com.au
Will there be an ACROD viewing platform?
We will have a dedicated accessible viewing platform.
Will there be ACROD facilities available?
Each toilet area will have ACROD facilities. They will be clearly marked on the map.
Will there be ACROD Parking available?
There will be ACROD parking available. Please reach out to events@macromusic.com.au if you require ACROD parking.
ACCESSIBILITY
Terms and Conditions of Entry
These Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with the Festival Guide and Oztix Terms and Conditions.
1. Event Tickets:
You are responsible for ensuring you meet the age requirements for the Event. As this is a licensed all-ages event, no refunds will be processed if entry is denied due to invalid ID.
Entry requires a valid photo ID and one of the following:

A valid bar-coded ticket;
-
A valid bar-coded print-at-home PDF ticket;
-
A valid bar-coded Passbook ticket (electronic ticket on a mobile device) from Oztix Pty Ltd.

Event gate staff may exchange your ticket for a wristband upon entry. For damaged tickets, bring them, your ID, and proof of purchase to the Box Office Management Team.
2. Wristbands:
Wristbands must be worn at all times during the Event (if applied). Removal, loss, or tampering with the wristband will result in eviction without a refund. Loose wristbands will be confiscated, and you will be removed from the event.
3. Lost Tickets and Wristbands:
Tickets and wristbands are your responsibility. Report lost, stolen, or damaged tickets to the ticketing agent immediately. Replacement is at the discretion of the ticketing agency and not available on the event day. If you lose your wristband, you will be removed from the event.
4. Ticket Restrictions:
Resale of tickets is only permitted through Tixel. Unauthorised resale or use for commercial purposes is prohibited. Tickets may be cancelled without a refund if these conditions are breached.
5. Search on Entry:
Entry requires consent to search your person and possessions. Prohibited items, as listed in the Festival Guide, will be confiscated. Refusal to consent may result in denial of entry or ejection without a refund.
6. Smoking Policy:
Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. Non-compliance may result in ejection from the event.
7. Photographing and Recording:
Personal cameras are permitted. Professional equipment requires media accreditation. Recording or filming is prohibited. Unauthorized recordings may be confiscated or deleted.
8. Recording by Promoter:
By attending, you consent to being included in official recordings used by the Promoter without further consent or compensation.
9. Behaviour and Code of Conduct:
Attendees must conduct themselves in an orderly, respectful, and appropriate manner at all times. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or evict any person displaying disorderly, offensive, or inappropriate behaviour.
The following Code of Conduct must be adhered to:

No harassment, discrimination, or offensive language towards other attendees or staff.

No disruptive behaviour, including excessive noise, physical altercations, or damage to event property.

No illegal activities or substance abuse.
-
Violations of this Code of Conduct will result in immediate removal from the event without refund and may involve legal action if necessary.
10. Alcohol:
Alcohol must be purchased at the event. BYO alcohol will be confiscated. Proof of age ID is required for alcohol purchases. Intoxicated individuals will be directed to the ‘chill out zone’ or first aid if necessary.
11. Food and Drink:
No food or drink is allowed into the event site, except for empty plastic water bottles for refilling at designated points.
12. Drugs:
Possession or use of illicit drugs will result in removal and referral to the police.
13. Personal Information:
Your personal information may be collected and disclosed as per the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and for contact tracing in the event of a COVID outbreak.
14. Promoter’s Liability:
The Promoter is not liable for injury, damage, or loss, except as required by law. Entry is at your own risk.
15. Indemnity:
You agree to indemnify the Promoter for any loss or damage arising from your negligence or breach of T&C's.
16. Enforceability:
Unenforceable provisions do not invalidate the remaining terms.
17. Refund and Cancellation Policy:
Changes to the event & the lineup may occur. Refunds are only available under specific conditions, including postponement or cancellation due to a Force Majeure Event. COVID-19 related issues are treated as a Force Majeure Event.
18. Police Presence:
Police and dogs may be present at the event.
19. Youth Policy:

All youth and responsible adults must arrive and enter together.

Register under 18s at the youth registration tent upon arrival outside the entry gates.

Patrons under 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult over 25 years old. A maximum of two juveniles can be supervised by one responsible adult.

Unaccompanied or unsupervised juveniles will result in cancellation of tickets and escort from the site.

20. COVID-19 Clause:
COVID-19 Impact: In the event the Event is cancelled or impacted due to COVID-19 or related regulations, it will be treated as a Force Majeure Event. This may result in postponement or cancellation, and refund policies will be applied as specified under the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Attendees are required to follow all COVID-19 safety protocols as mandated by health authorities.
21. Accessibility Information:
Companion Card: Free entry is provided for companions assisting patrons with a disability. Please present your Companion Card at the Box Office upon arrival.
Viewing Platform: An accessible viewing platform is available. Please inquire at the information tent for assistance.
Accessible Toilets: Accessible toilets are located throughout the event site. Look for designated signs or ask event staff for directions.
Accessible Parking: Designated parking spots for disabled patrons are available. Please follow signs or ask event staff for directions.
22. Emergency Procedures:
For medical emergencies, find security, medical or event staff or head to First Aid tent. For non-urgent issues, you can reach out to our event Info desk at the entry gates.
Evacuation Procedures: In case of an emergency evacuation, follow the instructions given by event staff and proceed to the nearest exit as indicated on the event map.
23. Lost and Found:
Lost Property: If you lose an item during the event, please report it to the Lost and Found booth located at Info desk at the entry gates. All found items will be taken to this booth. Items not claimed within 30 days after the event will be donated to charity or handed into the closest police station.
24. Consent for Medical Treatment:
Consent to Medical Treatment: By attending the event, you consent to receive emergency medical treatment if necessary. In the event of a medical emergency, event staff will arrange for appropriate medical care.
